Online Registration Forms
Thanks for your interest in our Young Writers Programs! Below are the dates and times of upcoming events and groups that are available for online registration. If you have any questions about these events, feel free to contact me, and I'll get back to you ASAP. All payments are received securely via PayPal.
2013 Summer Collaborative Writers Groups
In the summers, Inkaholics groups run for 3 weeks with 2-hour sessions TWICE a week. Together, the group brainstorms and writes a novella over the course of 6 sessions. Each participant is assigned scenes and takes ownership of the events that happen within set parameters. Students learn to work together to craft a story and contribute their own ideas and writing to the finished product.
INKAHOLICS 20 WRITERS GROUP - JUNE 2013 * SUMMER FAST TRACK
Ages: 14-18
Dates: Tuesdays & Fridays, June 14-July 2, 2013
Times:
2:00-4:00 p.m.
Cost: $75 (all ages)
Participants: limited to 4-6 only
INKAHOLICS 21 WRITERS GROUP - JULY 2013 * SUMMER FAST TRACK
Ages: 14-18
Dates: Tuesdays & Fridays, July 16-August 2, 2013
Cost: $75 (all ages)
Participants: limited to 4-6 only
All Inkaholics writers will receive a final, published copy of the finished book sometime after the group ends.
Ink Slingers: FREE Monthly Peer Critique Group
Bring 3 copies of 1500 words of your work-in-progress. We'll read it together and critique it as a group--live and in person! Discuss your story with peers and help others with their writing as well.
Ages: 14-18
Duration: Monthly, 4th Saturday of the month
Time/Location: 5:00-6:30 p.m. (RSVP for location)
Cost: FREE
Participants: 3-8
NOTE: Ink Slingers does not meet in June, July, August or December.
