Young Writers Collaborative Workshops run for 6 weeks with 2-hour sessions once a week, held at a local coffee shop or cafe. Together, the group brainstorms and writes a novella over the course of 6 sessions.

Each participant is assigned scenes and takes ownership of the events that happen within set parameters. Students learn to work together to craft a story and contribute their own ideas and writing to the finished product.

Ages: 12-18, Intermediate-Advanced

Participants: 6-8
Cost: $75 for the entire workshop

 

Every student will receive ONE FREE COPY of the final, professionally-designed, printed copy of the novella after the workshop ends. They may purchase more copies, if desired, from Lulu.com. (No real names are used, as this book is available online and written by minors.)
